Inner Bliss is proud to be celebrating it’s 17th birthday this year!
Studio founder and owner Tammy Lyons shares some thoughts and reflections on the journey and power of the practice.
Q: What comes to mind when you realize that you've been in business for 17 years?
A: What comes to mind when I remember the 17 years is all of the healing that has transpired within our walls as well as out in the community. In all 17 years I have never doubted - even for a second - the healing power of coming together to breathe and move. It has been an honor to be a witness to the healing.
Q: What are you most proud of along your journey?
A: I am most proud of our resiliency and ability to evolve and meet the needs of our students through such a long period of time.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge along the way running the studio?
A: The biggest challenge from the beginning and still today is the operation of the business. I have real business demands and yet I never went down this path to run a business. 17 years later I still feel at times unequipped to run a business while maintaining the yoga. Thank God for yoga!
Q: What is the best part of practicing yoga at Inner Bliss?
A: To me, the best part of Inner Bliss is our incredible people. Our bliss makers, our teachers, our management, our marketing team, our students! We have been lucky enough to attract really amazing people who believe in this practice.
Q: What is your primary message to students at who practice at Inner Bliss?
A: I guess my message is that we are hard at work each day to create the very best heart opening, vinyasa yoga experience for our students. And THANK YOU for coming back to the mat!
