Hot, warm, ambient

Some like it hot — and some do not!

We understand that our students have varying preferences.

We have designed our class schedule to meet a range of needs.

Inner Bliss offers three levels of warmth during classes:

  • Ambient: 76-78 degrees (regular classes)

  • Warm: 80-82 degrees

  • Hot: 90+ degrees

Note: There may be a degree or two range once bodies are moving in the studio

Many of us love practicing in a heated studio because of its physical benefits. Here are a few potential benefits of hot yoga that are based on studies at the Cleveland Clinic:

Why the heat?

At Inner Bliss, we build heat in the body through invigorating breathwork and powerful poses.

We intentionally complement this internal heat with varying levels of heat (76–90+ degrees) in the studio, creating a transformational experience on the mat. The heat nudges us out of thinking and into feeling, allowing us to soften where we are rigid during challenging moments.

The heat magically encourages us to breathe deeper, grow stronger in our determination, and become more supple in our bodies and minds.

Infrared Heating Panels

The sophisticated triple-component heating system at our Westlake location combines a powerful furnace, air humidification, and infrared heat.

State-of-the-art supplemental infrared heating panels, also known as radiant heat, are installed throughout the new, large practice space. This advanced heating technology aims to emulate the sun’s healing rays.

Infrared heat warms the body from within using electromagnetic waves that create a therapeutic, calming, and soothing sensation. Flexibility, detoxification, mood boost, immunity, cardiovascular health, radiant skin, and weight loss are a few of the physical and mental benefits of infrared heat.
