I discovered yoga for the first time with my teacher and mentor Tammy Lyons at Inner Bliss Yoga. From that first moment, I was hooked!
I earned my 200-hour certification through the OM Teacher Training Program. I try to take the energy of the group and move towards a higher level, melting limits and bringing awareness to all parts of the body and mind. My classes are fun yet challenging, but taught from a base of gratitude and commitment to taking care of your body so that students can shine in their space on the mat. Yoga is the "ultimate in living" and I hope to bring all the joy, peace, and union of mind, body and spirit yoga has given to me back into the world starting with the classes I teach at Inner Bliss. On the mat, I have learned that as in life, each person has areas where they struggle and those where they shine... and that the collaboration of all of our gifts is what makes our world so amazing.
I am inspired by my teachers here in Cleveland and beyond; and the loving support and wisdom of friends; family; my very sweet dogs; and my husband, John.
Why yoga? For everything else that I do.
What makes you come alive? My babies Evie a Wyatt, Spending time with my husband and our family.
Three words to describe your teaching style? Simple, powerful, consistent.
Life before yoga? Scattered.
Life After yoga? A little more balanced and centered, or at least I know when I am not.
Secret pleasure? Wine, maybe a Disney movie with my kiddos, bowl of sugar cereal like Apple Jacks!
What is in your backpack? Gum, Lip Gloss, Binkie.
What impact do you want to leave on the world? Encourage kindness and generosity.
If you had 4 legs & you were furry, what would you be? Not sure? I think a pelican which has feathers and two legs.
You are stuck on an island and can bring 3 things. What would they be? Sunglasses, Hat, pen and paper.
