This reimagined Experience is about digging into your yoga practice and observing your bodily feedback. The only commitment you need to make is to yourself. Getting on your mat each day (even for a few minutes) and paying attention to how your body feels will be life-enhancing!

What is new?

The Experience is possible for anyone!

Like an all-levels yoga class, you can modify or embellish the practices to create an Experience that feels right for you. Rather than setting rigid rules, The Experience offers suggestions to shift you out of old habits and the encouragement to experiment with new ones.

Here are a couple of examples:

  • Eat: Consider our unprocessed food suggestions and recipe library and then set your own unique goals around healthy eating. Your goals might look a little different from others’ goals.

  • Drink: 64 oz a day? Go for it (if you want to)! Or just start your day with a big glass of water and notice how good you feel! Drinking water throughout the day can be a game-changer! And, you may notice that the more water you drink, the more water you crave!

Also new:

  1. Practice yoga (even a little yoga) every day with Inner Bliss teachers in-studio or at home with our On Demand library of classes or those that we live-stream via zoom. We think you will agree that 15 minutes on your mat can be a state-changer, and an hour is like a mini-vacation!

  2. We have developed a new body listening companion to help you explore the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) sensations happening inside your body! This guide will help you begin to draw connections between what you eat/drink and how you feel.

  3. Commitment to yourself! We have added a Sacred Contract that you will complete and sign to help you get really clear on your personal intentions and how you want to feel at the end of these 10 days! The Sacred Contract also offers a place to capture your “Aha” moments and insights so that you can reflect, remember, and retrieve them in the months to come!

The Experience

The 7 Practices

  • Practice yoga daily with our Inner Bliss teachers in our studios or in the convenience of your home! No time for a full 60-minute class? Easy! You’ll have access to our Experience On Demand Video Library with classes as short as 15 minutes. You can also join us virtually, with our live-streamed Zoom classes! Time and place are not as important as just getting on your mat every day to breathe, move, and feel your body.

  • Notice your bodily sensations. How does your head feel? How does your gut feel? What is your energy level? Body Listening is a practice of curiosity and inquiry that leads us to engage in meaningful conversation with our bodies! As we learn to listen to bodily feedback, we gain insights about living well and feeling great!

  • Sit or lay down, close your eyes, and consciously breathe for ten minutes each day. It’s that simple. Do your best. The word meditation can be intimidating because we know our mind is busy and distracted. But the essence of meditation (just like yoga) is not to “be good at it” but instead to simply try to practice it. We get stronger just by trying.

  • Find a fun way to give to others once a day. Buy someone coffee, leave a nice note, or go out of your way to help someone in need. This simple act of giving will change your emotional and energetic state! Doing something from the heart is uplifting and feels really, really good both for you and the lucky recipient!

  • Eat real food. We suggest choosing unprocessed, whole foods like delicious vegetables, fruit, nuts, fresh fish, and meat. However, decide what’s best for you and your body’s optimal state. Whatever your choice, commit to it for ten days and notice how you feel as you eat. Food can be nutritional healing or it can be nutritionally depleting. We encourage you to eat to feel great!

  • Begin your day, as soon as you rise, by enjoying a big glass of water! And drink water intentionally throughout the day. We enthusiastically encourage you to avoid alcohol and soda for the duration of The Experience and limit caffeinated beverages to one a day. Just try it! Drinking tons of water can be a universal solution to feeling better!

  • Mantras can be an empowering self-care tool! We will help you discover daily life-affirming mantras as well as create your own, to shift thought patterns and invite in an uplifted state. We will encourage you to call upon your simple, concise mantras to repeat often and with intention to help you feel empowered!

You will get eight classes to take during the 10 days of The Experience (either in the studio or via Zoom). You will also get access to our Experience On Demand library of 20 classes in various durations to choose from! Just get on your mat and practice every day.
