binaural.

Recently a good friend told me about a kind of relaxation music, Binaural Beats, that works as a technique to help with sleep and create calm and ease.

Binaural beats is a sort of music/sound that elicits a relaxation response deep inside the brain. On the surface it sounds very relaxing and pleasant to listen to, but apparently is also working on a much deeper level. I have been listening to these beats the last 2 weeks both when falling asleep and in the early morning when I am meditating or writing. I am in love.

Whenever something works for me, I love to share it. That is essentially how Inner Bliss was born. Yoga worked for me and I wanted to share it.

Here is what Psychology Today says about Binaural Beats:

Why is exposure to these soundwaves helpful to sleep and relaxation? Science shows that exposure to binaural beats can create changes in the brain’s degree of arousal. Listening to these sounds that create a low-frequency tone, research indicates, triggers a slow-down to brainwave activity—and that may help you relax, lower your anxiety, and make it easier for you to fall asleep and sleep more soundly.

The track I have been listening to is: Binaural Sleep Intro on Apple Music. I believe there is an unlimited amount of options out there, but I love the one I chose.

For me, it is always about how something makes me feel. Listening to these beats, feels really, really calming and expansive and restorative. Check it out!

Enjoy listening today!

Big love,
Tammy
