Adventure Yoga + Movement Camp for KIDS

Join yoga teacher, Sarah Scott, and Allison Coale, DPT, for a fun outdoor yoga + movement camp!

Connecting to our natural environment through breath, movement, and play is vital in the way we thrive as human beings, especially as children. In this camp we will get outside to open our minds, bodies and hearts focusing on the 3 elements of nature: Earth, Air and Water.

Each morning will include an outdoor exploration, craft, and yoga + movement practice. This camp perfectly times with our morning yoga classes at both the Westlake and River studios, so you can give the little yogi (or yogis) in your life a chance to connect off the mat, while you take time to connect on yours! 

  • Who: Ages 3 thru upcoming First Graders *children must be potty trained

  • When: Tues-Thurs, June 5-7th

  • Time: 9-11am

  • Where: Meet at Cahoon Memorial Park in Bay Village. The camp will start and end here each morning. During camp, we will explore the surrounding Cahoon/Huntington areas)

Camp Itinerary: We will spend the first hour learning about an element in nature, which will be our theme for a coordinating exploration and craft. Then we’ll break for a quick snack, and connect it all together in the second hour with a yoga practice and PT based movement game! 

What to bring: Water Bottle, a piece of fruit for a snack, beach towel (to practice yoga on). Wear comfortable play clothes and SUNBLOCK to camp 

Cost: $90 per camper (includes cost of craft supplies)

Sarah Scott is a registered 200 hour RYT and yoga teacher at Inner Bliss in Westlake. Allison Coale is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in Pediatrics. Combined, these sisters have 8 kids ages 9 and younger between them! They share a love of practicing yoga and finding ways to incorporate the mind-body connection in the lives of little ones



*Camp is limited to 20 registrants

**Weather permitting ~ in the event of inclement weather, rescheduled dates TBD or a full refund will be given

Healing Grief on Your Mat

Honor the pace of your own journey of healing from grief or loss.

We will experience a supportive 60 minute gentle slow flow and yin restorative practice focused on self care and healing. The practice will be followed by journaling and meditation. 

If you are experiencing loss of a loved one, pet, home, health or are experiencing the end of a career, marriage or relationship yoga can help to heal and restore your sense of wholeness and hope.

Join Daneen as she teams up with 5j Barrow at the Rocky River location on Friday May 4 from 6:00-7:15PM for an All Levels Live Acoustic Flow. Fee: $20.00  

From the historic Apollo Theater to the open air of Washington Square Park, NYC's 5j Barrow has inspired audiences with soulful music, evocative imagery, and lyrics that tug at the heart.

Founded by Broadway performers and newlyweds, Eryn Murman (born and raised in Lakewood, OH + IBY yogi) and Jason Hite in the fall of 2011, 5j Barrow was named "Best Band in NY" after winning The Greene Space WNYC/WQXR's 'Battle of the Boroughs 2014'.

They have built a loyal following on the streets of the city and continue to engage with audiences as they're currently embarked on a year-long tour of North America with performances that are both intimate and rousing.  

5j Barrow released their debut album From the Dim Sweet Light in 2014, and their first installment of three upcoming EPs produced by Grammy nominated David Mayfield, was released October 6th, 2017 titled The Journey, Vol. 1.  Vol. 2 is scheduled to release May 19th, 2018.
