Tammy and special guest Andrea Vecchio are teaming up to bring you a musically-inspired yoga session designed to open your heart and invite clarity into your mind.
They recently shared how this soul-centered experience was designed and developed, and explained what to expect from the workshop on April 20 at Inner Bliss' Westlake studio location.
What inspired the evolution of this workshop?
This workshop came together over conversation about the synchronicity of Andrea's love of music as it moves our emotions with lyrics and my love of yoga as it moves our bodies with breath. We felt we could create an incredible experience together, linking the power of a playlist and the energy of a yoga practice.
What will happen over the course of the session?
The experience will be held in a softly lit studio with candles and aromatherapy. Andrea will offer an inspirational talk based on her book Live Your Playlist that focuses on finding clarity while accessing emotion through music. We will move into warm slow flow yoga practice, inviting students to drop into their bodies with deep breath and slow, fluid movements. There will be a beautiful orchestration of breathing, getting lost in the lyrics of music that moves you and being completely in your body, moving and releasing.

We hope students leave uplifted, clear and energized in mind, body & spirit.
What are your thoughts about the relationship between yoga & music?
Yoga moves us through a full range of motion and music moves us through a full range of emotion. Together they mesh and create an experience of full range, dislodging anything sticky or stuck in our bodies, our hearts or our minds.
