I show up because yoga continues to usher me through all the unknown peace that the noise of everyday life tries to shut out.
I show up because practicing makes me a better wife, a stronger mother and a more open friend. I show up because if I didn't, I would not be able to see all the beauty around me, even when I am tested into the darkest corners of my mind.
I show up because breathing with others reminds me that I am not alone and that within the lines of traffic, inside an overloaded email inbox, behind the clutter of judgement and envy their awaits that one, long, deep breath. The one that fills me with peace and the hope I crave for everyone around me.
