What makes me come alive… laughing so hard I cry; hot, sweaty vinyasa yoga; giant hugs from my love, Marc.
I fell in love with yoga when… for moments at a time I could think less and feel more.
Favorite indulgence... whipped cream from Mitchell's!
My hero is... my dog Happy. He is truly pure love with fur.
Words that lift my heart… see the divine in everything and everyone.
The breath is… the doorway to our deepest knowing.
Love is… being the light instead of the judge.
My classes are… offered from my heart, guided by the breath and may take you through a full range of emotions.
I believe in CLE because...of the people. We are a city of resilient, creative, dynamic people. We are people that have faith in the power of community, the value of innovation & the need to rise above doubt. While I am not from here, I am proud to call CLE my home.
If I weren't a yoga teacher, my other dream job would be… An NBA Basketball player named T-Dunk, a DJ named T-Spin or a hair stylist named T-Do!
Certified & Registered Yoga Teacher, Studio Owner
I came to the mat 17 years ago in search of a sweeter physical expression, craving a spiritual ground and a need to make peace with my body.
After receiving my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Silver Lotus Yoga Institute in the fall of '01 with Susan Hamadock in Rehoboth Beach, DE, I opened Inner Bliss Yoga Studio on January 2, '02 in the original Lakewood location. We moved to Beachcliff in Rocky River 18 months later and then into the current Lake Road location a year after that. In August of 2012 we opened our second location in Westlake. This past December, 2016 we opened our 3rd location at 1224 Huron Road, Downtown CLE! The past 15 years of IBY have been magical as we have watched our own community soar and the practice of yoga in general transform millions of lives!
The intention of Inner Bliss has always been to encourage a vibrant yoga community in Cleveland with a safe, nurturing environment for the the practice of vinyasa yoga.
I am thankful to all of my teachers, past and present, but the greatest teachers are my students who fill me with inspiration and gratitude even during my most difficult moments.
