The best things in life are: A hot chai after a rockin', powerful yoga class. A hug from my son. A deep belly laugh with my sister. A good pair of jeans. A kind word when you are feeling down. The first snow. The last snow. Singing really loud to your favorite song. Comfortable cowboy boots. My Grandma.
I love watching... a students' yoga practice evolve. From timidly entering poses and trying to get their feet "right" to fully opening up into a magical moment on their mat.
I laugh out loud... at my own jokes... and when I am uncomfortable.
Music that moves me: Anything that feels real... like the singer is bringing it out of their very soul.
a defining moment in my life: My first yoga class... I knew from that moment on I would practice and teach as long as I could.
I am so passionate about: Yoga.
I am grateful for: Tammy Lyons. Every once in a while you meet a teacher who generously gives just so you can learn how to shine.
Favorite song lyric: "It's not where you go when you die / It's how you live when your alive / Who you touch and how you feel it."
Life is to short to... waste one more minute wondering, "What if?".
Places you may find me: Chicago or Wisconsin.
I smile when... I am in childs pose on my mat.

favorite day of the week is... Thursday.
yoga is... the one thing I have found that can soften the edges of my life and make me feel really alive.
How yoga found me: Depressed, anxious... and searching.
I learn... the hard way... most of the time.
A source of joy for me is... seeing my son grow.
My favorite pose is... triangle. Especially when I am really warm and I can feel the deepest stickiest part of my body opening.
