I fell in love with yoga when... I realized yoga helped me cope with stress.

Favorite indulgence... Well, I can't just pick one so my top three are chocolate, cooking and yoga (of course).

In one word, yoga is... uncovering and befriending yourself.

The best thing about yoga is... The extreme calmness I feel after practice. 

The best time of the day... Night, because it gives me time to reflect on the occurrences that happened throughout the day.

The best hugs are Squeezes! If I could live anywhere I would live… Near the ocean.

If I were stranded on an island, I couldn't live without...  My husband, three cats, and my sketch pad.

My favorite hot beverage is... Good ol' black coffee... Yummy!

Bliss Maker

Growing up in the Youngstown area, I longed for more culture and diversity. A little over 9 years ago I moved to Cleveland, and I still believe that was the best decision I have ever made. I fell in love with Lakewood soon after.

Currently a student at CSU, I will soon graduate with a education degree in Special Education. With the stress our students are experiencing currently in school, I hope to bring a calm and positive classroom environment to my students. 

Yoga has been a part of my life for 2 1/2 years. I have not only learned how to accept others for who they are, but I have also learned how to accept myself. Everyday I practice to open my heart to those who need it most. After a day full of exuberance, I try to hit my mat (even if its just for a juice child’s pose). I have realized the importance of practicing pertinence and contentment through yoga.

Oh, I can’t go without mentioning my three lovely cats and husband. They make my world spin and help keep me centered.
