The best thing about yoga is....the community of amazing people; connecting, breathing, loving and sharing something amazing.

Without yoga...I would not be the person my dog thinks I am.

I am not defined by....anyone else’s standards or ideas of who I should be. I’m here to be happy and share that happiness.

Love is...surrounding us at all times, if we let it.

The best hugs are...from my nieces and nephews when I go home to visit.

The best time of day is...Fall nights by a bonfire.

I heart Cleveland because...it’s alive with possibility, creativity and pride.

Locally you might find me at...Lakewood Park or Edgewater walking a GIANT dog named Dexter Thomas!

If I could live anywhere I would live...I can’t think of any place I’d rather be right now then here!

To keep things interesting I....constantly challenge myself and find something new to do, even if it scares me!

Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher

I started practicing yoga in 2006 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and instantly felt connected. A couple years later the company I was working for went bankrupt, I was left wondering what to do with my life. I had to move home and take on jobs that were very humbling. And every night I went to yoga.  That nightly practice gave me strength, helped me find balance and kept me calm through all the chaos.  I will forever be grateful to my teachers at Yoga Shelter in Detroit who taught me so much about loving yourself and finding peace.

I was blessed with landing an amazing job that took me to New Jersey where I continued to practice at Garden State Yoga in Bloomfield, NJ. It was a great time for my practice, exploring new styles of yoga, learning to assist and studying everything I could about the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. I unfortunately had to spend a few months off the mat recovering from back surgery but that time allowed me to understand that yoga doesn’t only happen in the studio, it happens every moment of the day.

In July of 2014 I completed my 200 Hr training in Michigan with the Yoga Shelter while I was moving to Cleveland for a new job.  Since then I have taken many additional trainings, workshops and certifications to grow and strengthen my practice and teaching. I’m currently 250 hr RYT through a training program I took in the summer of 2015 with Jason Crandall as well as certified in Aerial Yoga. And everyday I find a way to practice, breath, learn and grow.
