Welcome to Inner Bliss. Together, on our yoga mats, we breathe, move, laugh, grow stronger, become more supple, and open our hearts.

We were all beginners at one time, so we know how it feels to be new to yoga. We hope to make your experience simple and blissful!

First things first!

Our studio uses the Mindbody software for class sign-ups. Go here to take care of this step.

  • Basics Flow class - This is a great class to begin with! Monday evenings at 7:30 pm at our Rocky River location. (View Basics Flow class schedule)

    Slow Flow class - This is slower moving class, luxuriously relaxing and a wonderful class for new students. (View Slow Flow class schedule)

    Yoga Flow for All Levels class - This is a class for students of various levels with modifications offered. A friendly environment for new students. (View Yoga Flow for All Levels class schedule)

    Yoga for Beginners Workshop on occasional Saturdays. Check out our workshops page for the next scheduled offering. If you take this workshop, you will be granted a free class valid for use within 7 days! Current students can take the workshop at half price if they bring along a brand-new student.   • Wear clean, comfortable clothes such as leggings and a fitted T-shirt. Wear a layer or two in case you get chilly or hot. Arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins. Bring a yoga mat, a small hand towel, and a water bottle. 

  • Yoga is not a competitive sport. In fact, yoga, at its essence, encourages you to honor your body and any limitations you may have. Rest if you need to, and simply begin where you are.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to class, leave your shoes in the lobby (In Westlake this is at the bottom of the stairs), bring water, a mat and a small towel, please silence your cell pone and refrain from using it in the studio unless it is an emergency and always enjoy the stillness and peace of the studio!

  • Avoid eating 2 hours prior to the practice.

    Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.

    Listen to your body. Modify or embellish your practice as needed. Take care of yourself.

    As teachers, we want to help... Let us know of any limitations you might have or modifications you may need.

    Try easy. Sometimes “finding an edge” means doing less.

    If you feel sharp, shooting pain, STOP. Immediately. Discomfort is part of our practice but there is a significant difference between discomfort and pain. Your practice should never be painful.

Join us for a Yoga for Beginners Workshop!

Begin where you are! Stiff, scared, a little intimidated or even unsure of what yoga really is? We are ready for you! Yoga for Beginners is a warm, friendly setting for brand new yogis to experience the healing value of breathing and moving with vinyasa yoga! You can expect a learning environment where you can ask questions.

We will cover basic foundational poses including modifications to fit your needs and abilities as well as the basics of yoga philosophy, how to breathe, and how to link the breath to movement.

Wear comfortable exercise clothing and avoid eating at least one hour prior to class, and arrive 15 minutes early with a water, towel and yoga mat. Don’t have a mat? No problem! You can borrow one of ours.

Bonus: You will receive a free class in your account once you’ve completed the workshop!

Try a Basics Flow Class (beginner friendly!)

Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at our Rocky River studio.

An inviting, invigorating class for the beginning student to learn the basics of vinyasa (flow) yoga or students of any level interested in coming home to the basics.

A slower paced, uplifting experience with a focus on optimal alignment and breath, developing flexibility, and strength and mindfulness.
